Mayapur Speaks

Round 2, Ladies & Gentlemen! My apologies for the rather rapid entry into speaking but that's because I accidentally cut off the first sentence and I cannot for the life of me find the necessary shutzpah to record it again. The bit I deleted parts with the merry news that Mayapur Speaks will now come to you twice weekly: Monday and Thursday. Thank you for the many requests for reading topics....they shall be fulfilled. Feel free to write with more demands or threats---I'm open to it :)

Would you please call me every evening and tell me a bedtime story? Your voice makes me feel peaceful.

I got it to play as far as "and then the fun began." It stopped there twice. Such a wonderful voice I almost don't mind. But I do mind. Can't wait to hold the book in my hand and read the rest.

When is this book published? Can I pre-order on Amazon? I can tell that this is my kind of book.

I'll be sure to let you know when it hits the shelves :) Thanks Movie Girl :)

Oh, do let the fun begin!!!

Wonderful introduction, accompanied by a voice meant to be heard. I can hardly wait for the book -- and the audio version.

Oh, and I adore the new header . . . colors I conjure in my mind's eye when I think of India! (Though I bet they're just a few of the colors!)

Kathy B! said...

You're killing me with the book reference! I can't wait to read it. And when it is published I think you should be sure to do a book on tape as well. I don't normally enjoy them, but I think I would savor the time spent listening to you read the words you have written.

And I am LOVING Mayapur Speaks.

darsden said...

Hi ~ Well. I came over to thank you for leaving such a kind comment over at my and quickly found myself reading, reading, reading...back in time through your older posts. I was in Hyderabad India last Feb. for my daughter's wedding so it was fun and interesting for me to be able to have my memory jogged. I love everything about your Bloghome and I will be back to visit again. Take care!

Eureka !

I just clicked on "Mayapur speaks 2" in Braja's short new addendum to this post. It takes you to an Open source page. To the left there is a thing called Stream (Hi-Fi). I clicked that and was able to hear the WHOLE thing in Windows Media Player.

It actually went beyond ,"What fun !"....

What fun, indeed ! Wonderful...(Just checked the planets. The Moon is in Taurus, the Sun is in Virgo, Jupiter is in Capricorn I am in Mumbai, and Braja is in Mayapur . The configuration has to be perfect to hear the stuff. :-) ....)

Silence reigns here, too...

Great opening to your story, Braja. Well told!

Your voice is so lovely and calming. Your love for India is alive in each syllable. It makes me want to go...

shelter, home, sublime.

Pastor Sharon said...

Braja, will there be a CD with the book, read by the author? I do want a copy of this book!

And your voice. . . . the voice of an angel? YES! The accent. . . it's how everyone in heaven will sound. . . I have placed an order for that? :)

PurestGreen said...

The new link worked! Hurrah! Oh I love the bit from the book that you read. How exciting. You shall have to keep us all up to date on publishing times. You have a lovely voice - calm and peaceful and wonderful to listen to.

otin said...

I think that Mayapur needs to tell Otin how to use modern technology! LOL!

Stacy (the Random Cool Chick) said...

Thanks for the new link - that worked for me! :) Will we be able to pre-order a copy of the book when it comes out? And can we pre-order an autographed copy? :) I agree with the others - you should consider doing it on CD, too - your voice is beautiful and soothing...normally I don't like to listen to a book being read to me, but you I would enjoy! :)

IB said...

That was the coolest.

♥ Braja said...

Glad it worked for you IB :)

♥ Braja said...

Stacy, now that you mention it, I possibly will just read it all online :))

bodaat said...

please choose to do a book on CD! I think i might choose that over reading it myself. there is something that is simply enchanting about your voice.
and ps - nice start to your book!

Craig Glenn said...
